DDS, MS Surgical Prosthodontist
Dr. Khalid A. Azzouz is a surgical prosthodontist. He earned his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) and graduated with honors from Tripoli University in Tripoli, Libya in 2003. Dr. Azzouz practiced general dentistry for several years prior to joining New York University College of Dentistry, New York, NY where he received a certificate in Oral Medicine and Special Needs Dentistry. His passion to the field and seeking the best for his patients motivated him to join The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Columbus, OH for two years of General Practice Residency program, where he got his anesthesia training so he can offer IV sedation for his patients. After completing his residency, he was hired at the same institute to serve as an assistant professor/practitioner and was awarded as Dentistry Outstanding Instructors. Dr. Azzouz completed his Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at West Virginia University School of Dentistry, Morgantown, WV, where he received advanced clinical training in surgical and prosthetic implant dentistry. Dr. Azzouz served as an assistant professor/practicing prosthodontist at the same institute and he was honored to be among selected faculties to teach and practice in Dr. W. Robert Biddington Center for Dental Innovation at West Virginia University.
Dr. Azzouz is a member of many professional organizations. He is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, Academy of Osseointegration and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and American Dental Association.
